Kesha released a statement some days ago, in which she changed her opinion from "Dr Luke raped me! I have evidence! Kesha's previous statements were often contradicting and I stopped believing her years ago because they were likely lies and since her last week's statement, I'm more convinced than ever before that she is a liar and her aim was to destroy Dr Luke's reputation.  She claimed years ago she has made so many notes, has all these notes, and now she doesn't remember it anymore? Can't she use her notes to remind her? She can't 'cause these were all fake notes to begin with. All courts have dismissed her fake evidence so far and found Dr Luke is not guilty.

As for MJ: I watched the docu years ago made by the accusatory parties and it was pretty convincing and shocking, but afterwards it turned out that a wrong claim was made which has been verified by satellite/aerial images that showed that MJ did not have a train station in the early 90s where the alleged abuse was claimed to have taken place. The train station was built years later. After this lie, I stopped believing the other info because after this, everything may have been just invented. Also the accusators made a lot of money by collaborating with the media. The Chandler story, where a dentist father forced his son by using dental drug hypnosis to accuse MJ was also extremely bizarre , very disturbing and showed how a father used his son to make money. Now the fact that some people lied, doesn't mean that other people also lie, we cannot know for sure, and it cannot be ruled out that MJ is indeed criminal but I think MJ is more likely innocent and that he is the real victim.

It is sad that MJ killed himself, he probably would be still alive and he would continue to give hope to people of all skin colours but his mental health was so damaged by the accusations.

Anyway, both Kesha and MJs accusers succeeded in destroying the reputation of Kesha and MJ. They reached their goals. For Luke and MJ, their reputation is their currency and they can get blackmailed. So many people read back then Kesha's claims and only very few people read Keshas latest statement that was written many years after, long after Lukes reputation was destroyed. In peoples minds Dr Luke continues to be a criminal, and they treat MJ in a similair way. And this isn't totally fair. People want to believe the shock stories by the media and the tabloids get money with ther advertisements if they sell stories well to people.

Kesha didn't drop the lawsuit. The current lawsuit was Dr. Luke's defamation case, and Dr. Luke dropped the lawsuit, after Kesha was having noted victories in the case.

It's confirmed that Kesha told people directly about her assault before she was ever famous; I think it's incredibly weird and misogynistic that people like to conveniently "forget" that. The initial focus of her lawsuit was to be freed from her contract and not be forced to work with him, and now (as she's released the final album in her contract) that goal has inadvertently been achieved. It makes sense that she's trying to move on.

Not that comparable, Kesha’s change in tune is likely part of a deal struck with Dr Luke to “move on.” That’s super common in legal stuff (look at Gaga separating from Troy, for instance; she couldn’t even talk about what went down specifically).

Her speaking out repeatedly is the only leverage she’s had this entire time so it would be the thing she corps negotiate if she wanted to just move tf on

The pro of Innocent till proven guilty is greatly reduce the number of innocent ppl ending up in jail wrongly convicted... The con is u also greatly reduce the number of guilty people who get convicted

 

One way or the other there is a lack of justice and ppl who are screwed over

Do you think Kesha lied about being raped? And do you think Lady Gaga, Pink, Kelly Clarkson, etc. all lied about knowing how abusive Luke has always been? What about Gaga saying she saw Kesha in nothing but a pair of panties, in Luke’s basement not knowing what time or even what day it was?
