Nicki Minaj's neighbors want her to move over concerns about her husband

Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty are reportedly at the center of a petition, started by their Hidden Hills neighbors, asking them to move over 'safety concerns.'

In addition to voicing fears that the 45-year-old registered sex offender's move to the area would lower appraisal value, one Calabasas inhabitant, named Beverly Bardan, has collected more than 900 signatures, on Change.org, to signify his community is 'against sex offenders in [their] Hidden Hills neighborhood.' 

On the petition platform, he urges 'resident’s safety first' and states that the 40-year-old rap superstar's spouse is a 'level 3 sex offender, convicted for the attempted rape of a 16-year-old-girl.'

Bardan also claims that Petty has a 'high likelihood to reoffend' and is 'is currently under house arrest for failing to register as a sex offender in California as law demands it.'

'The Petty couple moving in would lead to appraisal value of our homes to go DOWN due to safety concerns. It would lead to children and women being a target,' Bardan added. 'Don’t wait to receive a letter from the government saying a predator has moved in near you.'

not excusing it at all it's disgusting he did that but he's 40 now so this is odd to me

Regardless of age, he's classified as a Level 3 offender which means he has been determined to have a high likelihood of reoffending:

Level 3 offenders are considered to have a high risk to re-offend. They usually have one or more victims and may have committed prior crimes of violence. They may not know their victim(s). The crime may show a manifest cruelty to the victim(s) and these offenders usually deny or minimize the crime. These offenders commonly have clear indications of a personality disorder.

Idk. If he has, I don't think he's been accused publicly or charged bc we would have heard about it. But many assaults go unreported so it's impossible to say.

I think his history of threats and intimidation toward his victim, as well as his deliberate choice not to register as is required, shows he is quite callous about the incident and not acting in good faith.

he's literally living in a house with his wife and child, let's not treat someone like Jeffree Dahmer because of what disgusting thing he did how many years ago, clearly he's trying to live his life with his family and fix his life unless there's something glaringly obvious i'm missing from the story? This sounds like a bunch of uppedy Karens in a fancy neighborhood not happy that this couple has moved and can afford to live in and 'lower' the value, that's crazy. They think they're in danger because he's moved in with his family? Think the women in the area are now in danger? That's rediculous, sorry

Agree to disagree I guess! He and Nicki literally threatened his victim trying to get her to recant just two years ago. Can't pretend it's all in the past.
