So two weeks after my second album reaction of Robyn's I had made my way to her self-titled album.* This album was also her first under her then new Konichiwa Records label. After some listening, I have to say that I find this album to be very enjoyable. I love the campy nature of the tracks.

Here are my five top picks (in order of when they appear on the 2007 version of the album):

Handle Me (This track is basically perfection):

Bum Like You**

Be Mine!

With Every Heartbeat

Who's That Girl (I LOVE the production on this)

*There are two major versions of the album (not including the 2020 edition). The first was released in Sweden and Norway in 2005, and then the international edition came out in 2007. The latter is the one that more people outside of the two countries mentioned are aware of.

**The first video linked contains the audio from the 2005 version, which is more alt-rock oriented. The second video has audio from the 2007 version, which is more electropop oriented. I generally liked both versions.

I enjoyed this, and I am very happy that she found a better creative outlet for herself with her own label. :) Her performances from this era seem to be really fun too. I had no idea that she briefly opened for Madonna on the Sticky & Sweet tour!

Wait, I just realized that the Robyn of Show Me Love is the same one for Dancing on My Own. :poot:

I'm going to try to listen to more of her music and these that you suggested!
