What do you think Gaga's most impactful song is?

I think it's between Bad Romance, Born This Way and Poker Face.

Poker Face and Bad Romance I would say is her most commercially successful songs, however I would argue that Born This Way is her most culturally successful song and I think Born This Way will also have the most staying power because if its message.

What do you you'll think?

To me, out of all her best performing songs, these 4 arr IT:

Impactful = Bad Romance

Culture = Born This Way

Most Successful = Poker Face

Critical Acclaim = Shallow

Born This Way. It did well commercially, was critically praised (although not as much as Shallow, etc.), and has been referenced in TV, movies, etc. for the past decade. Although Poker Face and Bad Romance did incredibly well in terms of sales, I'm not sure the GP would be as familiar with the songs as much as they would Born This Way and Shallow.

Bad Romance is what sealed her as a legend and is one of the greatest songs ever written/ produced. It still sounds so big and loud on the radio, there's nothing like it.

Born This Way comes to mind with the word "impactful". It was so explicitly LGBTQ+. A lot of people feel the song and album saved their lives.

I would say more recently Shallow and Star Is Born in general really had a tremendous impact on Gaga's career. It revived it and sealed her yet again as one of the greats with longevity. Everyone ate it up.

All of the above, many other Gaga songs, and Gaga herself, have had a cultural impact.

Kind regards

Judas :billie:

such a provocative single, and was released during Lenten season. Gaga knew that it would make some big noise so she did what she did.

Then there's Shallow and ARUTW :holdmyhand:

It has to be 'Just Dance'. :haroon:

'cause I mean, look at what a career that song launched. It is insane. Her first release made her famous all over this planet. :diane:

And I still adore, enjoy and love that song. Also I am very grateful for the success it brought her and what doors it opened for her. And look at her now. :tony::firega:
