Well Domino's is crap - it only sells in America because their food and quality of food is awful.

Eido

I mean... The pizzas there are cheap and taste better than Domino's :vegas:

Someone is getting fired for lying on their market study

Wasn’t there a time that Taco Bell tried being a thing in Mexico and the chain had the same fate? :ladyhaha:

I know it's not quite the same situation but Target a few years ago tried to expand in Canada and all kinds of hype was created and they ended up loosing Billions and closed less than 2 years later :rip:

Canadians who knew target in the US I guess with border shopping didn't realize that with a higher minimum wage and higher sales tax the products could never be quite as cheap as in the US

Also aparently they didn't seem to try as hard to make their stores as good as in America (according to ppl who shopped in both) probably assuming the market was easier to win over cuz it was "just Canada" and essentially was just a more expensive Walmart giving ppl no reason to go to Target here

It was fascinating to see such a miserable failure of a majorly hyped and anticipated corporate entry into the country :ladyhaha:
