She does not accept requests. You have to take your request back and follow her again when she goes public.

you don’t have to retract your request. once the account goes public, it automatically accepts any outstanding requests

It does not. For many people including me, it didn’t. You have to do it manually.

That’s why there are alert accounts that tell when she goes public so that you can follow her.
