notconfident 291
The moment a company decides to limit user experience and try to gain profit from it, in most cases, causes slow death of the company itself. The 'sharing password' feature has been a huge part of the Netflix brand and is one of the things that made it as big as it is today, so pulling that and not expecting majorly bad consenquences is downright idiotic. It's not about 'being too poor' to pay for your own subscription, it's about not letting corporations treat us as more like money machines than they already do. They should feel the consenquences of their own actions, instead of just getting a chance to let this through, and pull a similar, maybe even a worse move in the future.
