Already cancelled it. Why make each person pay $23 a month when they don’t even have my favourite shows/ you can pirate anything you want anyways

Im currently watching about 2 shows on that service, with two shows on hiatus. After im done with all of them im definitely leaving them for good.

I'm a television writer. So, yeah. I'll pay for sure. I have too many friends who work on shows over there. Plus, I use it all the time and don't mind paying for a product I actually use.

I share one with my family and we collectively decided to cancel it last last week and I got the ok to pull the trigger. Thought process went like this: "catalog filled more and more with mediocre to awful Netflix orginals? Ok, but Roma was at least promising, maybe they'll step up their game, and there's still Stranger Things. Who knows what they'll come up with next, maybe they'll have a Criterion Collection vibe?" (It gets worse; Mank is released).  They're bumping up the price? Hmmm...ok that sucks, but my niece is still watching it, worth it for that alone. (Even my niece loses interest and mostly just wants to watches Disney+ or YouTube Kids now). They're taking away shared accounts, rendering it almost unuseable, rules seem complicated, reading conflicting reports on if you can also watch it at work or while traveling? Yeah, good riddence. :madge:

At this point no one in family (but me) was watching Stranger Things, my mom only cared about Grace and Frankie, which has ended (she's more about Hulu now). No point anymore tbh. I think even free sites like Tubi have a better back catalog.

cancelling because the more people that stay will show other streaming platforms they can do it too and all the consumers will lose.

Cancelled months ago and don't regret it. I was barely even interested in their original stuff anyways, with the exception of 2 or 3 shows. I kept paying hoping something was going to catch my attention. But at the end I was wasting money. I'll go back when the next ST season drops and then cancel again.

If I wasn’t obsessed with Grey’s no matter how many times I’ve seen it I would’ve cancelled already :ladyhaha:

Who’s cancelling? Because the majority that are paying aren’t the ones needing the password. I’m not going to cancel my subscription that I use regularly just because a friend or a sibling can no longer use my account. And who is splitting a $15-$20/month bill 3-5 ways anyway? We weren’t able to share cable tv with other households back in the day, why would this be any different. They need money to create quality content people. And maybe if everyone paid for their own subscription, they might even be able to drop the price.

Cancelled, I’m just gonna get a friend to stream it if it’s worth my time

Some of y’all act like you are too poor to pay for your own Netflix subscription but will eat out every day and go out every weekend.
