Not even Gaga can decide the release date, let alone Ellie Goulding. Considering the fact that she had to postpone the album "for exciting opportunities!111" and that turned out th be another Calvin Harris' song, I think I got a point here. I’ve been a long time fan, and it’s really unfortunate to watch her and her team to struggle with yet another album release. During her first two eras, it seemed like she was destined to be great, and now it’s looking like it was just good luck. With Delirium, they picked only 2 singles and then decided to throw in and rely too heavily on the soundtrack song Love Me Like You Do which was already a year old. Her music video for her second single Something In The Way you move was just a tour video… and then a year later they put out a decent video for the same song?!? WTF Her label then stuck her in the movie sound track lane for WAY too long and she lost all momentum. She’s got talent, that’s for sure. She does turn out bops occasionally. She can do choreo, but damn her team needs to get their ish together. This album sounds amazing, I really hope it can find some ground to stand on. She’s mostly been promoting it herself on twitter and TikTok. There is little hype. She had to delay this single because of Sam Smith, Ava Max, and even Kimbra all releasing pop records this week.
