I can't believe that out of the many good songs she wrote in recent years, this is the one that ended up being a hit.

It's like a song written for children.

You all say that completely based on two lines of the song like? Have you read the lyrics?
"Did you hear my covert narcissism i disguise as altruism, like some kind of congressman"
Like, you think that sounds written for kids? Jesus do you guys even listen to these songs that you criticise like ur just wrong

Matty Healy ate raw meat, touched himself, sucked a fan's thumb, kissed fans and now brought Taylor:cello2:

Lol. I never said she's not a great lyricist (that lyric isn't even close to being her best anyway). I was just saying that the melodies and the hook give that vibe of kids songs.

no that's not what you said, you said "it's like a song written for children" and the lyrics directly oppose that. case closed

nothing about what i said even implies an opposition to that statement lol you're just trying to distract. if you meant the melodies you should've said that outright!

They had an opinion it’s okay; you don’t need to jump on it lol it’s a very cutesy sweet-like kinda melody and I think that’s kinda the point. It’s a very pop song

It's just because it's an opinion that i see all over the internet and it's just such a misunderstanding, and if they jumped in with negativity i'll throw it back

Reginald

Going to a 1975 concert and the highlight of the night is a surprise appearance by Taylor Swift, not the band you went to see :giggle:
