I hesitate to call the entire team racist for singling out Mbappe, when there are other Black players that have played against before that they haven't singled out. It's LONG been said that he gets angry with players who don't speak French as PSG & was mad at them for speaking Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese in the locker room (ironically, he does speak some Spanish, too). So yes, while their behavior is immature, inappropriate, and dumb, I can understand why they might dislike Mbappe. I wouldn't use "rumors" about Mbappé being toxic as an excuse to actual proven toxicity. I haven't seen any toxic behavior from Mbappé. He only once said that Europe has an advantage in football because of the annual champions league which is a fact. Messi himself played in it for 15 years+.

Sis I said some of the fans were being racist, but I hesitate to call the entire team racist based on a) fan behavior and b) knowing about the rumors about Kylian's attitude towards Lt Am players. I haven't seen any of the TEAM (again, not the fans) be racist so far...just petty and immature.

I also said it could very well be both...some of the players could be racist AND also made about alleged xenophobia.

You should focus on racism in your country instead of looking for racism about a culture you don't understand.

8 years ago the Germans made fun of Argentines by calling us "gauchos" in a derogatory way and we didn't scream XENOPHOBIA because we understand how football culture works.

Yes, I can agree that he should have stepped in and told them to cool off. My point was while the fan behavior is atrocious, I hesitate to smear the entire team as I haven't heard of them directly doing something racist & the singling out of Mbappe might be due to personal reasons. Again, though, it's petty and uncalled for.
