Thoughts on the name ERAS TOUR?

I disagree. "eras" isn't a term exclusively coined by Gaga nor the LGBTQIA+ community. It's been used in pop culture for decades.

As one user pointed out above, Taylor's change in aesthetic is something that she has done multiple times (most dramatically with Red and onward).

Her Look What You Made Me Do music video and her recent capital one commercial played upon the very concept that she has changed over the course of her career.

Logically, The Eras Tour makes the most sense for her to do because she's released FOUR albums (+ two re-records with new content) since her last tour.

in any case it doesn’t really make sense for Taylor imo and I always cringe when a celeb uses stan twitter language (ok it has been used before twitter but it is a stan twitter thing)

also I don’t like the idea of presenting multiple eras all at once, imo it’s kinda an admission than an era isn’t actually the place you’re in at the time but just a gimmick (not saying this applies to Taylor tho bc she doesn’t really had strong and singular eras, except for reputation ig which was her trying to be somewhat dark or idk)

Seems like a clever concept with the re-recordings. She could divide the show up into sections that represent each of her albums 🤷‍♂️

very biased post. eras is one of the most generic pop concepts in the world. the word era has nothing to do with our lgbt community imo and wasn't invented by gaga. you might not be able to tell the difference between taylor's looks and eras, but her fans would. a lot of swifties who are not gaga fans would also say that gaga doesn't have eras and her looks and music all sound the same and naturally progressed from pop to pop with a country phase in the middle. ultimately people will see what they want to see, the reality is that both are artists who have showcased growth through their work, i don't even get the need to criticise one to elevate the other? there's 8 billion people on the planet, more than enough room for 2 women to shine.

the eras concept makes sense because she's revisiting her entire catalog and rerecording all her albums in like the span of 2-3 years, and also released 3 new studio albums as well. it's basically the only thing she can do because she can't do a tour for each individual album otherwise she'd be touring for 7 years non-stop ... hence eras tour. it makes sense to me.

They had worked for peace during the longera of conflict.

The fall of the Berlin wall marked the end of an era.
