Well from first episode, we could tell that Netflix didn’t take this show too serious. They could have had a hit in their hands, since winx is one of the most famous shows in the world. It just looked cheap and amateur.

The Creator voiced his disappointment that Netflix brought someone on board who had no interest in getting to know the (animated) Show while creating it. However - have you also heard the news that Winx is getting a new Reboot in 2024, called The Winx? Here is a Statement he made! (Maybe @BUtterfield 8 can add this to OP?)

Fate was an ok teendrama, Ig, but it didn't do the the original Winx Club series justice at all.

He actually explained that season 2 had production team changed from Netflix US to Netflix UK.

and that Season 3 would have needed a bigger budget (because let’s be honest the cgi went down in quality between season 1 and 2) because the actors signed a contract for two seasons and for further seasons they had the right to renegotiate.
