From a personal perspective, this is very sad. These decisions have a big impact on individual lives.

From a business perspective, this isn't uncommon. Sometimes these cuts have to be made to become a healthy company.

Healthy? Under Elon Musk? I have to laugh

From a financial perspective, not working conditions.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's purely a stunt to make it seem like he's trimming fat.

It is real.

Some former employees already locked out on their work account

Apparently staff in his U.K. office have had all their accounts stripped of permissions and they’re just sat waiting for confirmation they have been fired.

The incoming tribunals are going to cost him a fortune :huntyga:

He’s so clueless when it comes to international laws.

They better sue him beyond poverty :iamfair:

Very unfair to those losing their jobs.. redundancies are unfortunately too common in a post pandemic world.

I truly believe he's in over his head with Twitter. Musky Elon's ego is too fragile to handle a job where he's so easy to publicly criticize. And, lest we forget, he never really wanted to own Twitter in the first place.

So many people will be going without jobs now. This is going to make everything incredibly worse.

I feel bad for those who lost their jobs and happy for the possibility Twitter aka the toilet of the internet may soon implode

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I really did like Elon a few years ago but he’s really become an egotistical narcissist. I don’t get why he purchased Twitter in the first place, he’s got too much power and it’s concerning.

I’m not surprised, when Elon bought my solar company (SolarCity) back in 2018, all of my friends and myself lost our jobs. Elon Musk is pure evil. He is Thanos incarnate.

* also, just a note, I was awarded a $10,000 bonus for being the top performer in my department, and then I was laid off two weeks later, the day before my birthday. I never saw a penny of the bonus.

I feel bad for all those losing their jobs.  And those who remain will probably have to double their workload.  A terrible situation all around.

Im Sorry for missunderstanding reaction
