G U C C I 5,513 Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 It has been “confirmed” by various sources that she is playing Harley but just like with the first movie that may not be her name. They gave Joker a new name and did a complete character study on him in a way that has never been told or portrayed before. I think they will obviously give Gaga’s character the same treatment. I don’t think we are going to see the typical peppy cartoonish style character but instead a deeply troubled woman masking her way through life until meeting Joker and he is the catalyst for bringing out her psychosis which is where the musical elements will come into play. I truly believe Gaga can literally nail this role with her eyes closed. In some ways I believe this story is going to have a lot of personal moments and feelings behind it that will make it haunting and violent in a way we’ve never seen a female superhero before. Monstermilo 4,998 Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 i dont feel like this is a step in the right direction i feel like shes too good of an actor to do a super villain role. honestly wouldve liked to see her in a marvel movies instead of DC as DC hasnt released a good movie other than the first wonder woman movie in 2017....... i feel like if its a musical too, its gonna flop even harder lol hoping she proves me wrong but i wanted a more serious, oscar worthy role for her, this seems more like a cash grab than artistic progession Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
