I discovered her music when I went to Marina's Love + Fear tour in 2019, for which she was the opening act at the time. I had never heard of her then, so I didn't know what music I was going to hear, but I was pleasantly suprised that I liked it so much. Ever since, I do like to listen to her music once in a while. Seeing them live made me a huge fan of both Another opener for Ingrid Michaelson was a woman named Jenna Nichols who blew me away with her vocal style.
