FL Governor trafficking immigrants to Martha's Vineyard

Florida governor Desantis announced he was responsible for 2 planes carrying immigrants landing in Martha's Vineyard. I want to keep clear that what he did was legitimate human trafficking. Most of these immigrants were reportedly already safe, staying at a shelter in San Antonio and were lured by a woman standing outside (presumably hired by Desantis) and promise these immigrants that they if they go on the plane they would be taken to Boston where there were housing accommodations and job opportunities already lined up for them. Instead these immigrants were flown into Martha's Vineyard with no clue where they were, no jobs or housing and they were deprived of food during the 9+ hours they were travelling. At least 7 whole families of men, women and children were on these flights. Not to mention Desantis paid a f*cking camera crew to film them during the journey.

Two planes carrying migrants were sent by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis to Martha’s Vineyard on Wednesday night, his office said, infuriating Democratic politicians and prompting a frenzied response that included humanitarian aid by locals and assistance by Massachusetts officials....

“We are not a sanctuary state, and it’s better to be able to go to a sanctuary jurisdiction, and yes, we will help facilitate that transport for you to be able to go to greener pastures,” DeSantis said on Thursday, a day after claiming credit for sending the two planes to the island. “Every community in America should be sharing in the burdens. It shouldn’t all fall on a handful of red states.”

US Attorney for Massachusetts Rachael Rollins told reporters on Thursday that she will speaking with members of the Department of Justice about DeSantis sending the migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, saying she did not yet have enough information to say whether he broke any laws in doing so. She added that their first priority is making sure the people who arrived were treated respectfully.

Wow! What Christ-like behavior coming from a Christian man who visits religious colleges and speaks using bible verses!

This is such a lack of respect for human beings. It’s so sad that these humans seeking a better life are being exploited as props for DeShithead’s political theatrics. I am sure his toddler is a better adult than him. What is even sadder are those who are applauding him who are so dumb to understand tax dollars helped fund this. Imagine how those tax dollar could have been used to better the lives of these people.

because they subjected these immigrants to violence and trafficking, they may now be eligible for visas and opened up pathways to citizenship for them

I hope those two are charged and these immigrants are granted permission to stay

There’s another update, according to immigration attorney Rachel Self currently at Martha’s Vineyard,  the immigrants were given pamphlets with completely false information on how to update their address with the gov so they automatically fail their immigration cases and get deported because of their absence.

But if they were given false information by government officials, can’t they get their “crime” expunged? It was not their fault.
