It turns out he didn't make any movies when he was 25 in 1999. But it was when he was at the peak of his career, when he was doing his most successful movies and was a mega heart-throb. They say that gaining fame arrests your development at whatever age it happened to you which is why so many celebrities who got famous between 16-21 tend to keep acting very young for a long time and have a more immature way of dealing with things. So, Leo's fascination with 25 can't be a coincidence. I also find it odd that he won't even date women older than 25 who look younger. There are plenty of women older than 25 who look like 21 or younger, but he won't even go there, 25 is that significant for him which is bizarre. But regardless, even though what he's doing is fine from a legal standpoint, it certainly isn't fine from a social standpoint. I don't know one person who'd find an age gap like that acceptable. Any 47 year old will tell you that speaking to women in their early 20's is an experience that does nothing except inform you that you are not on the same wavelength. I'm 32 and even I don't think I'd ever consider a guy in his early 20's, the differences are vast at that age range. An adult should want to hang around other adults their age. If you're only interested in people much younger than you, that suggests you're into power dynamics in relationships which is never a good thing. There are plenty of women in their 40's who are hot, sexy, smart, talented, etc. who would date him in a heartbeat. Yet he still wants younger, less experienced women, who are at the prime age for having body image issues and self esteem problems and are still figuring out who they are and what they want.
