This is so upsetting. I'm so sad to find out that the abuse is so common within this industry  the look of frustration and upset on his face, I really don't think he's making up or exaggerating 

And the fact the abusers get away with it because it's almost common/expected is so sick

I'm kinda glad that this cases are coming to the light, the public and the pop stars themselves usually see dancers as this happy artists that complement the tours and music videos but they are totally unaware of a looooot of different types of abuse in the dance world...

I highly doubt Gaga is willingly turning a blind eye. Either it's a contractual thing, we don't know the full story or...

...Richy has been close to her for over a decade. If he's as manipulative as he's made out to be, he might have personal leverage against Gaga as well.

All speculation of course. I still think it's all a guessing game since we barely have info.

In the locked thread, it was explained how his contract can be terminated. Somebody else also shared his earlier leaked contract stating that it can be terminated anytime with any cause.

i always wondered why jeremy (+ mark kanemura, but his reasons might be unrelated) left.

richy is a horrible person and needs to go ASAP.

gaga is not responsible for richys actions but she is responsible for his employment, and he shouldve been fired over this back when it happened and maybe the dancers that were abused after jeremy wouldn't have left.

gaga has continued to work with richy for 10 years after this. its clear now that she just doesnt care.

According to Montana a few days ago, both Jeremy and Mark left bc of Richy. So, as he confirmed that story on his side, it's kinda safe to assume Mark left for the same reason (also, they were dating when all of this happened, so either way Mark probably wouldn't want to work for the man who abused his boyfriend (and surely him too).

i didnt hear montana saying that but i mean that pretty much confirms it. god richy is an awful person

i did wonder too why mark and jeremy didnt return for the halftime show when a few of her other dancers did and i wonder if richy still being her choreographer had any part in their decision

No offence but it really doesn't matter if you don't believe she had no idea what was going on. You weren't there, you aren't a part of her team, and you don't know what's happening currently.

Everyone keeps bringing up the Ellen fiasco and her team members that were also shitty to her employees, but what people don't realize is that it had been common knowledge within the television industry that Ellen is a nightmare of a person for DECADES. I personally know at least 5 people that went in and out of her show as production team members within months, and all of them left directly because of her. No one could expose her without risking ruining their careers forever, but when they could finally put a spotlight on the other sh*tty people working there... that finally opened the floodgates.

Gaga is not a sh*tty person. Nearly all of the dancers have explicitly said they don't blame her and that she's a great person.

I'm gonna believe them over a bunch of people speculating in an online forum

Can confirm, it was an open secret Ellen was/is a terror. The stories my friends told me from interning there  And around her cancellation I'm pretty sure those were out there. This is a bit different, since most of the dancers are praised her/said it had nothing to do with her. But I do get the comparisons a bit.

okay so your opinion based on your corporate job experience isnt relevant then either..? im not trying to be rude but we're all just trying to make sense of whats happening, theres no need to act like you know more than everyone in here. probably everyone here has had a horrible/abusive boss or at least knows someone that does, its not just you.

i know gagas dancers have defended her. its still unrealistic to me that gaga doesnt know about this and has been unaware for 10 years.

thats not really related to the point i was making though. ellen allowed that to environment to flourish and seemingly so has gaga. thats not good on her part. if someone so close to her has been able to abuse multiple dancers undetected then what kind of environment has she created? i know richy likely has manipulated her but the reality is this is not a good look for gaga, whether we love her or not.

I never meant to imply I know more than anyone else. I was just saying that I have real life experience in entertainment industry employment contracts, and how being involved in big productions can complicate how and when you can fire a senior level employee.

This site has a huuuge tendency to get bloodthirsty real quick whenever accusations come out, and start demanding action. People are saying they "feel" Gaga knew for years, but that's just wild speculation. It spins this idea that this is all Gaga's fault when all we know *for sure* right now is that the dancers have accused Richy, and made it clear this wasn't Gaga's fault.

I'm trying to give perspective instead of stirring the pot, and sticking to facts rather than feelings.

I'm sure this is not the way gp is going to see it if the story gets big. I'm certain that it will put a bad light on Gaga even if she is just finding out now, because most gp don't care about the full story they will just see the headline. I think that's what a lot of fans are worried about
