The only real complaint I have is the set list , my heart can only take so much ARTPOP erasure, and I really wanted FT and some BTW deepcuts but everything else is grade A:firega: I’m so hyped for my date:excited:

And what do you want to do about it? Do The Weeknd and Coldplay serve interludes like Gaga? Do they give you a new outfit after every three songs? Do they give you vocals like that? Of course they need those props to cover up for that lmao

You're missing my point. Ofcourse they can't. Gaga killed it. But the stage wasn't a good stage for stadium at all. Also why y'all jump on everyone if they don't like something from ga? I just shared my opinion. The stage was cheap af

hearing how so many fans couldn't see her because of the boxed stage is very sad, ESPECIALLY with the ticket prices...

What does that have to do with anything? :bear: She can serve all of that on a better stage like she's done in all her previous tours :bear:

And y’all would still complain like you do every time :bear: “Joanne stage is too simple and small” “ARTPOP stage is cheap inflatables” don’t act like this doesn’t happen every single time :bear:

I hate that boxed stage. It's not suitable for stadiums at all. Very disappointed at the stage. Just a shoe box with screens

Only thing that missed the mark was the stage design and layout. It’s probably among her worst with how much of it is hidden from the side sections.

There's a 16:9 feed from what I saw on the vid but idk how it feels firsthand.

wheeew I haven’t logged in here for so long but I just have to voice my opinion somewhere and I don’t know any other place I can so here we go, I’ll try to say WHAT I THINK without hurting your stan feelings bc i’ll probably get a flambit warning (even tho idc since i'm not really in here anymore lol)

First of all I’ll say that I wasn’t expecting anything great because I don’t expect anything from her anymore, so y’all can’t blame that for my opinions. As mentioned before, costumes and visuals? chef’s kiss, very btw and tfm vibes yes! lovvveddd them! a complete mother serve! everything else? (and I mean absolutely EVERYTHING else) …well. meh.

I won’t repeat everything that has been said before me in this thread already, but i’ll just say that there was barely anything Chromatica about this show. Like, I feel like she completely forgot the whole concept of chromatica after she dropped that album lol. It just gave me very much Gagachella 2.0, and if that was the case then that show would seem really great honestly! but it wasn’t, it was the chromatica ball, yet it lacked literally anything CHROMATICA about it. And that’s why it sucked.

I can say i’m disappointed but honestly I can’t be disappointed by something if i know that it’s going to be a disappointment anyway. And that’s exactly what gaga is lately, a mediocre, predictable disappointment (imo ofc, don’t get mad) And I mean she can do whatever she wants, I just feel like these kinda things aren’t for her anymore. She’s a fabulous actress really! a performer? in this day and age? not really. and that’s ok! we all should move on to greater things.

goodnight gagadaily logging off again ciao stream ha*ry st*ten’s gosepl

Like literally everyone on twitter and ATRL can’t stop gushing about the tour but if anyone wants to deflate their hype, all you need to do is visit Gagadaily :lmao:

Idk what happens every single time because I wasn't on GGD for her previous tours and I don't really care what happens every time, we're talking about this stage now :bear: It didn't work well for a stadium, it felt empty, and people on the sides and in the distance had a bad view. These are all valid concerns and points of criticism. Coldplay and The Weeknd had better stage structure and design, and that doesn't mean Gaga is horrible and needs to end her tour immediately, it's simply a valid comparison with other big artists who are currently on tour.

Ok takeaways

gaga looked happy yet a bit nervous. I think she was just very focused on getting through the show.

i don't get why Ariana's part was played while Gaga just sort of stood there. I'm sure that will end up getting cut unless Ariana actually joins her.

is it just me or did she not use the left runway at all?

I watched the entire show live-streamed and it was amazing! It really reminded me of the Monster Ball, especially the interludes and the Monster performance! The vocals and dancing were so awesome, and I also really loved the piano segment, it was great to hear Always Remember Us This Way live.

I just felt like the setlist was so short for some reason, but not even in a negative way because I was always entertained. I wish there were more segments and songs however, especially from ARTPOP and some other album tracks from Born This Way and The Fame Monster.

All in all I think it’s amazing and definitely one of her best tours.

I really love how it is remarkably different from Joanne tour. Something about her stage presence has changed in such a way that there appeared a feeling of otherworldly stardom godliness about her, it's like she's broken into that league of Madonna and MJ finest tour grandeur. I enjoyed the concentration of music, the overall speed in this tour and how she reinvented her dance practice without hurting her stage presence. As always, pleasantly surprised by her aesthetic choices, for I, like, I bet, many of us, suspected her to wear the outfits similar to her VMA 2020 performance. Overall, it felt like she has told a story through more mature non-verbal means like lights, interludes and music, and I really enjoyed it.

Yeah! Something about her stage presence has changed completely! Creative choices were made and they turned out to be perfect - the darker tone was unexpected, but it made this night so special. JWT was vocally strong, but the show was just proper and well executed - nothing wow. Enigma felt like Gaga's caricature, but Chromatica Ball is 100% of gaga in Gaga!
