I belive that concert generally will be amazing but Im just mad that it's boxed stage, She is one of the best when it comes to live performances and it's her first stadium tour and closed stage ?

She's clearly never been into big screens, but more into sophisticated stage designs that allowed for a more interactive and unpredictable experience.

Of course, huge screens and an open stage can be striking at first, but I think it's quite cooler to have see-through catwalks on top of you, elevated bridges flying above your head which also work as screens, moving castles and so on...

Big screens go with striking interludes and video montages of the show and Gaga's clearly more interested in providing an innovative and interactive experience for her fans rather than have them be astouned by a huge screen on which they see her rather more as an untouchable, huge, but not-so-present figure, you know?

She always wanted to be closer to the fans and make them a part of the show.

oh dear lord.

what strikes me tho, is that the catwalk is quite low. even in arenas the stage and the catwalk are like at least 1,70m above the ground. also the stage seems quite small, or is it just me. Especially if they're filming the show, it needs to be higher. However that is the stadium in dusseldorf there is no doubt. But it looks like a stage for a seated show, like for the Ehrlich Brothers or something.

But if you look at the scale between the barricade and the catwalk. I think this photo does not do what we are seeing Justice. This actually might be massive.

also wanted to add, if we look at these circle screens at the top, they are attached to wires. I reckon this screen may be on a fly system and actually lift to reveal more stage behind it.

these photos in my opinion are like d-word pics. It’s all about perspective and the angle things are being taken. A big d-word can looks small in pictures if the angle is not right. I feel it may be similar in this case. I wouldnt jump to anything yet!

I can't believe you are falling for this :cryga:

It's been all so secret till now and suddenly they would ruin everything and let everybody who passes by the stadium hear the setlist, allowing some attention seeker fan to shine? HA!

Coachella was not that long ago, we should have some memory :billie:

She clearly thinks that being watched more on a screen than in real life takes away the natural spirit of her performance and she's kinda right for that. We're watching artists on screens way too much and a live show should be different than that.

At the end of the day, it's not just about the stage, props, lighting etc. - it's about Gaga and her serving us some great live vocals, interacting with us, tellin' a story, having stage presence and just putting on a great show. That's what it's truly about! So let's be grateful that she is doing a big tour performing Chromatica songs after these very hard and shitty 2,5 years.

But it can be huge and interactive and well done at the same time, it's not impossible and I love to see her on a big stage like you describe,

A stadium tour is very different from an arena tour. All the things you said are correct but for a stadium tour the stage needs to be huge. For example the joanne tour in an arena was extraordinary, in a stadium was a letdown

THIS! Honestly I’m more concerned about the setlist than the stage. I’m pretty sure the stage is going to be amazing even though it looks weird on that cursed image hahaha

Gaga concerts have never been about huge screens and super technological special effects, not even her SuperBowl. It has always been about her performance and interaction with the audience. All her stages have been top tier and I’m sure CBT won’t be any different

I don’t really care that much about the stage but I am disappointed about the leaked setlist. I’ll wait to see some videos but I may sell my ticket 🥲 (San Francisco, VIP GA for reference)

She did sound checking with MTN, Paparazzi and maybe others I can't remember but they didn't appear in the actual show
