TheMadridHash 4
Anyway, like it or not, Madonna was more succesfull in South America this year than Gaga. when are you going to understand that Gaga can't top madonna with only 4 years of career i mean, it was so delusional when BTWB started back in april that people were saying she was going to make 300M and top madonna's tour, i was like what ? if gaga can match TMB's gross it would be an amazing performance, because this is THE FIRST time gaga does a tour with only 1 leg per continent Even the fact that gaga has made an TREMENDOUS impact in the world of touring with such a short career is like asking Maroon 5 to top U2 concerts Madonna has had 3 decades of building areputation and a FANBASE, a fanbase that in its MOST part is Adult wich means it can afford bigger prices for pretty much everything opposite to gaga's wich is mainly Teen/Young Adults and a chunck of them have to depend on wether their parents can or cannot afford tickets Tickets in LA were in average more expensive than any other leg(aside from promos and stuff like that) so it is only logical that this leg maybe "underperformed" still, to sell almost 330k tickets in 10 shows is AMAZING for someone who had never visisted the region + has only 4 years in business + high ticket prices + Young Fanbase = Slay
