Yes! Unless you know their pronouns. Not all nb people use they/them for example.

Also for everyone else - most people who use multiple pronouns prefer you use them interchangeably and mix it up unless they state they have a preference or state otherwise. Defaulting to ONLY USING she can still be potentially transphobic even if that's not your intent. Demi's pronouns are not SHE/HER. They are they/them AND she/her. Use both like I did in my previous post.

Example: "Wow, I'm proud of Demi for following their truth. I hope she's living her best life."

Sorry but I’m not doing this and asking people to do it is ridiculous. If neither of those pronouns fully work, come up with one that does.

What’s the need for these 4 terms? Can someone educate me. Why can she choose both “they” and “she”?

maybe providing these words in a sentence may help me understand. Thanks!

I guess people misgendering you all the time makes you « « « give up » » » your preferred pronouns in a way

You can refer to her as she (woman) or them (non-binary), that was my ex case, I don’t know how to call it in english

I'm glad that now not every single thread about them will consist entirely of people correcting others about the pronouns:poot:

Nah it'll still happen to people who missed the news. Now get ready for this in every thread :laughga:

"Actually it's 'they'"

"Actually she said she goes by either she or they now"

Do you feel him sir?

Oh good, I'm tired of having to edit posts all the time when people call her a "her" :flop:

I hope this means no permanent warning points will be issued for slipping up and using 'her'. Even if English isn't my first language and I'm naturally more used to using 'they' when referring to 2 or more people. Still it amazes me how some people just assume you're discriminating just because... Also my comment got deleted with no explanation so reposting in case I deleted by mistake!:iamfair:

Your wp wasn't for mistakenly using "her" 'cause I simply edit those to say "they"

Your wp was for calling Demi "Themi" which is disrespectful and mocking her for her (then) preferred pronouns :lolly:

If you'd like to discuss further, feel free to make a Support thread. I don't think I meant to make those points permanent either so I'm knocking them off your profile :lolly:

See I would interpret it differently.  I would imagine the meaning is this:

"I'm non binary.  My pronouns are they/them, HOWEVER I'm not about it you use she/her"

I'm just speculating but that's the general vibe I get from most non binary people I know, that they like they/them, but they're not angry if people don't use that.
