Damn this is messed up. I was just jamming to their music this morning.  I had no idea they were an actual couple AND had an adopted son. I always thought the kid from the videos was a little brother or cousin of one of them.

This is disgusting and horrific. I feel so bad for the kids and I hope justice is served! 

I always thought Die Antwoord did all the weird stuff only for their music careers and that their private life was normal. This is actually shocking and I am so grossed out that I saw them live in 2015.

I didn't know they had adopted, it's a shame that some well-meaning people struggle to adopt and bad people succeed and treat their children badly. Ever since I found out about them, I had a bad feeling. Their music videos are so demonic and dark and their use of children in them has always rubbed me the wrong way. They put their daughter in I Fink U Freeky when she was really young and she was topless. I know, at that young age, it's different but I still don't feel comfortable with seeing little girls displayed like that because sickos will watch this stuff and they probably love the fact that we view topless girls ok as long as they're flat-chested prepubescent girls. I know judging a book by its cover isn't always right but it's worthwhile to examine people a bit closer if you get bad vibes. It can be hard to tell in the music industry if something is just theatrics or genuinely nefarious at times and we need to become better at questioning and calling out.
