Because of this, imho it is not a stretch to say that this 90s anime is a 1.) fashion awakening for a lot of young girls and boys, and 2.) gay/trans awakening to a generation, who a lot of them might not aware about magazines like Vogue exist, but treated with high fashion anyway, because they watches this show religiously or even becomes a hardcore fan of it. She used a lot of these huge haute couture houses on her works and she seems to really like Thierry Mugler as his designs are the ones who gets more references.
