Why though? Isn't it a lipsync for your life? Isn't that like, do whatever you can (besides pick up your opponent :zilla:)

i think some queens just do stunts for the sake of it or people act like if you can't do acrobatics you lose your lip sync.

for example, Trinity vs Laganja was a great example! Trinity did amazing, but still lost cause she can't do splits every five seconds. or Brooke and Yvie who do cartwheels all the time no matter what song they perform. :air: (well, Yvie slayed TEOF, but i hope you got what i mean).

Carson Cressley and Ross Matthews add nothing to the panel. Santino was trash but I think he had a low amount of value.

i do enjoy how funny carson can be but i very much agree on ross matthews :saladga: i'm sorry but he just... winds me up!

I think Carson makes a somewhat decent judge because he actually has knowledge on some of the things he speaks about and gives actually good criticism on occasion whereas Ross literally makes jokes, compares queens to other ones and at times just borderline insults them :awkney:

99% of the time a crunchy split will add NOTHING to the performance. Showing off that you can do it isn't a skill high enough that it should keep you around, but Ru gags. When it is well-timed, fitting and deserved, it can work. Most of the time it isnt

I partially disagree with this, in cases where stunts are used correctly they can easily make a lip sync that much more memorable and beloved (Yvie vs Brooke) but in other cases when a queen is doing too much it cheapens the performance and otherwise gives you secondhand embarrassment (Latrice vs Kenya)

It really depends the song and timing of when queens do their tricks and stunts which is why sasha's finale lip sync is regarded as one of the best because of her immaculate timing when it came to her reveals

Most of the times I can't watch it. I can't stand the shade mood. Sorry I ain't sorry. Bring me a kind drag show just about creating art and I'll watch it.

camp wannakiki is free on youtube, it's a drag competition based on nothing but camp and the cast is literally as friendly and kindhearted with one another as you can get, maybe check them out?

Any fan that tries to stir up drama about Sasha and Shea is just a bad person.

Trinity should have been top 4 in AS6

LaLa Ri should have gotten an immediate saché away for that bag dress.

Ok, I feel you on that for sure.

Well I think the difference, for me, is when they can do splits every five seconds AND keep lipsyncing and the stage presence up. Brooke Lynne, Laganja, Kylie, etc all continue the performance and the energy level stays up.

What I'm not a fan of is when the theatrics overpowers the actual lipsync or they don't know the words so are trying to distract from that.

wait people are still trying to pit them against one another? ever since their season was airing they literally did nothing but ooze admiration, respect and love for each other non stop, not to mention they both have a crown of their own :rip:

I have to agree with that. Unless the song fits the moves, doing them just for the hell of it is so annoying. Like a split once is fine but the whole lipsync being split after dip after split after knee breaking slam... for WHAT

Soft, soothing, and succulent

Oh no the queens love and respect each other AFAIK. But during Shea's All Star season it was kind of hard to stomach people's opinions about Sasha's (admittedly) surprise victory.

sure! i'm just still bitter that Trinity vs Laganja wasn't a double win tbh. for me, Rajah won her lip sync against Brooke, when Trinity gave such an amazing performance against Laganja!

and i'm not gonna lie - i love cleaner lip syncs without splits and kicks, like Brooke's performance to Pride is literally the best thing ever (and better than Sorry Not Sorry's one imo).
