We've been overloaded with it since like 2016, but these past couple of years it's been unbearable. I usually like seeing trends in pop music, it feels like it's defining a period in time. I'm getting bored with her honestly, it is so obvious at this point that her label is really trying to make her have a hit.. they are waiting for 'the motto' to fade and then release the song. Even if you don't like it, trap is a new genre that didn't exist before. People in the future will hear it and think "that sounds like the 2010s". All these 80s rehashes recently, they're just directly taking the sounds from that time and not even adding a modern twist to it. It's so unbelievably boring. That 80's/disco sound that so many artists are looking to nowadays is vast and deep.
