But she didn't set out to offend or get those things in the film wrong and/or damaging. The intention was a good one. That's what I'm saying. Regardless of how the film came across.

Good intensions dont excuse this shitshow of a movie and was still more than just a silly mistake im sorry for coming of as a little agressive here i didnt mean to do so

Can you elaborate a little? :oprah:

it was mostly the stuff that basic research would show was harmful/unnecessary but sia kept it in anyways, especially things like using restraints

She basically forced and guilt tripped Maddie into being in the movie and even Maddie said she was embarrassed about it.

Sia also worked with autism speaks which is a horrible cause to support considering how horrible they actually treat those who are autistic

It’s a shame, the music scenes in the movie are actually stunning and so fun but the rest is just ew

Yes the music scenes were beautiful but could potentially be overstimulating for  autistic people who are easily overstimulated by bright colors and sounds

She tried to create something beautiful but it turned out very bad. I’m sure she didn’t try to insult anyone, so I really don’t get why she was canceled from the beginning.

Oh def which made 0 sense as to why it was even like that in the movie lmao.

im not autistic but I have really bad adhd and anxiety and I deal with a lot of sensory overload issues where and there, mostly with noises. It’s really annoying and feels absolutely crazy. It’s like your mind goes into overdrive it’s so weird

Because she litteraly guildtripped maddie into doing and she left in scenes that showed harmfull ways to restrain an autistic person during a meltdown
