In France we didn’t even talk about sexuality in history lessons and whatnot. When ur a kid u study basic stuff but not this. Anyways this is pretty stupid and the issue in America is how religious everything is. They say separation of state and religion but it’s not technically true. Laws are fueled by christianity

This isn't about studying. It is about mentioning. The law is clearly broad enough to stop even a mention of someone being LGBT. As in a 1st grader saying "Tyler likes boys" and the teacher not being able to say "that's not an okay insult or anything to make, and if he does like boys that's okay". This is dangerous, plain and simple. A true separation of church and state will never exist, simply because one's religious beliefs will affect their values. But taking somebody else's rights away because you don't personally like it is cruel and beyond ridiculous.
