It's always so shocking for me to see numbers like this for someone like Charli. My perception is that she is so much bigger. I would have assumed she would be in the top 5 no questions asked... not being beaten out of the top 10 by albums that are a year old...

agreed. she definitely deserves top 5, but her fan base is louder than they are big. (and i don’t think physical copies have shipped yet, so that’s probably another big part.) 

 

but… seeing as this is arguably her biggest era (mainstream, GP appeal-wise) since sucker, it’s still pretty good! i wouldn’t be surprised if the album stays on the charts & re-peaks later on if she gets a hit or two from it. (yuck & used to know me… i’m looking at you!)
