tomsches 17,330 Posted June 4, 2022 Share Posted June 4, 2022 I hated rajah before this season but I really like her now and I think she should have at least 3 stars by now. yvie is one of my favorite queens but I understand why people are criticizing her this season. i actually love everybody this season. If this was a regular season I would have stanned for her immediatly (I admit it took me some time to stan for her in season 5). Shea Borè is showing her lack of charisma and talent in this season, proving me right from day 1. Monet is the same, she literally talked with her voice (did the same in the snatch game) and these are called legends by some people. The best were: the actual top 2 and then Trinity and then Raja/Jaida. Yvie is doing the same character over and over and over and over again. This episode was a 5/10 for me. I hope next week will be better even tho I didn't get the meaning of the challenge, what did they have to do? A speech? about what? or is a roast? Damn that was kinda unnecessarily mean?…like just catty; you can say you don’t like it or aren’t a fan of someone’s schtick without being so childish about it. I swear a lot of people are way too comfortable disparaging near strangers just because they’re on tv. I would liken Shea’s comedic shortcomings to Jinkx’s or Bianca’s fashion ones (and let’s call it like it is, they do have that; they’re not fashion queens and that’s okay). Everyone has a weakness on some level. To say they lack talent because of it is just mean. I will also say that we don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes, but we do know production likes to pull little levers to set some girls up and set some other girls back. I think it’s worth remembering that. but yes, Shea and Monet didn’t do super well this week or turn in that great of performances; it wasn’t hard to say so in a respectful way. Trinity is slaying so hard I honestly could see her winning. I knew she was a strong queen but this season is bringing out her legendary status, she is having the time of her life!! Jinkx was 3rd for me, she was good but raja was killing me so happy that the Viv is getting some attention she was fabulous this episode.
