Thomas P 18,479 Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 We’re only 2 episodes in, so I absolutely could eat my words in the coming weeks, but this season is unreasonably good. AS1 was a disaster, but that’s well-documented. AS2 was a masterpiece, best season of the show, etc. And then AS3,4,5 all had shining moments, but were for the most part letdowns. AS6 was a breath of fresh air. It’s one of my favourite seasons of the show, but it doesn’t feel like an All Stars season for some reason, but rather it’s own thing entirely. AS7 is the first season to remind me of that particular feeling I had while watching AS2 for the first time. It feels like the same universe as the other All Stars seasons, but there’s just such a high calibre of talent that it’s kind of unreal. I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill. They don't need to be worried about anything and that gives them space to do great in the competition. Raja is blowing me away on the runway. It's just like Manila said, she is that one queen that doesn't reference Drag Race. Raja has her own references outside that world. So fresh. And Jinkx, omg, I love her so much. Bling 31,287 Posted May 24, 2022 Share Posted May 24, 2022 I honestly can't wait for this week's episode, we are being FED! Something about All Stars 3, 4, 5 just didn't feel like.... Iconic or nostalgic. Half the cast were there for personality versus winning talent (or C. U. N. T. ) and even though these weren't specifically the queens I would pick for an All Winners season, they are all SO polished and serving in every category. It's especially nostalgic for those of us who have watched since S1. Love seeing Raja and Jinkx get the exposure they so deserve and also how they all recognize the talent in each other, this really feels like a SUPER STAR season. Also with this rules change, it somehow forces then to bring it even harder. There were some in the Snatch Game that I didn't think would bring it and they did! I so wish they do another one of these soon or in a few years with Sharon (in my dreams), Bianca, Chad, Alaska, Trixie, Violet, Bob, Aquaria! discord.gg/hausofmayhem 1 Year and 1000+ Members!
