American version all the way.

Btw, the song was written and produced by Robert John "Mutt" Lange who produced Gaga's You and I

Yes I think I've seen a video of that. I only know that both releases of the album Come On Over have different versions of songs.

The country version is on the American version of the album, and the dance version is on the international version of the album.

Not The Real Gaga

Omg I didn't know there were two different version

Like this literally bothered me the other day because I always listen to the international version on Spotify

And then... one day... suddenly the song sounded so differently

Never knew an American/country version existed!

Being from Italy I always heard the so called "international" version... it slaps really hard, the original feels... empty?

so i listened this on speakers, the european is horrible to me now. IT's completely disconected in some parts

there are some qualities to the international version, it really is fuller and enchances well plus the choirs. Honestly it's a complete remix. Sometimes it's oversaturated with the vocals

While the country is more chill and funky swingy plus goes soooo much better with the speaking melodic quality. plus the silences in between really fit. Just the guitar riff bothers me too mcuh cause i have the other one in my mind for years now

I was aware Shania did multiple versions of the album, but I literally have never heard that first version ever in my life. :flop:

I'm surprised some of you never heard the American/country version, because it's what pops up first when you look it up on YouTube, and it's on her official channel, while the other version I had to search for. Even on Spotify the American version appears first.

This was my bop, international version especially. It was heavy rotation back then on MTV Asia.

I only knew the second version, so the less poppy version sounds a bit boring to me because there is less going on

Can this thread be a backdoor pilot for a crossover country music appreciation thread?
