Advice - 1st concert ever

Get standing tickets if you can!! It’s such a fun experience especially for a Gaga concert. I would suggest to not spend the entire concert taking too many pictures or videos. I used to get caught up taking too many videos that I didn’t actually enjoy dancing and taking it all in, living in the moment. The more memorable concerts for me have been ones that I stayed off my phone the entire time.

I know everyone is saying to get standing, but I'm here to say that getting seats is fine too! The atmosphere will still be fun! People around you will still be standing up and dancing and singing!

But you won't have to stress about what time to get there, or going to the bathroom, or being pushed around.

Just do what you think you'll be most comfortable with, because both options will be amazing either way!

so when ur standing and the show offcially starts at 8 - and entry is at like 6 - at what time should one be there to get more or less good spots? (Not neccessarily in the very front but also not in the very back) ? Cuz I don't wanna wait there all day long

So, every concert I've been to where I had seats (a good number) everyone just stands up immediately and basically stays standing the whole time. Some people might be grouchy about this, but it's kinda just the way it is. I think especially at a Gaga show everyone around you will be standing as well anyway!

(this is my experience in Canada/US, I've never been to a concert in Europe so social conventions might be different... but I'd be surprised! Especially with Gaga)

i always pick seats because I cant stand being in a crowd, i cant stand waiting for hours to hope to be in a good spot, cant stand people pushing and then i run out of oxygen, cant stand anxiety, cant stand not being able to sit down and drink, or put my bag somewhere. So for me to be comfortable, i pick seats, it means i have my spot reserved for me. i do my makeup 1 hour before, i take my time, i order food, i go there, i sit down, i take selfies, pics, i put my bag down, i eat, i drink, then when the show starts i put my bag on the seat, and everyone is standing up, nobody's sitting, don't get it wrong. and people dance, whats good is that u have ur own space to be able to dance. in a crowd, u just move ur hands up because u dont even have any space to move around, i nfront of u theres someone, on the sides, and back, u are surrounded. if u wanna go pee, good luck to u honey bcs u cant move, and if u leave u leave ur spot behind, and say goodbye to ur view. that to me is a huge no no. but i think younger people enjoy it for the ambiance, some are solid and stronger and love it, can handle it. i literally can't :poot:

It depends what you’re looking for, I’ve never been to a massive stadium show but I’ve been to several concerts. In my experience at arenas, lower bowl is my preference, you’re close to the action but still have a specific seat. That’s where I was for the artRAVE and it was extraordinary. That being said, I’ve never had floor seats at an arena, I’m the kind of person who would rather spend less money per show and be able to go to more shows if that makes sense. Concerts are expensive so I’m always just happy to be in the room even if it’s towards the back (although the closer you are the higher energy it will be).

No because the way the seats are set up, behind u is always higher up than your seat, it's done on purpose to avoid that kind of thing, also most people stand up, nobody sits, it's such a false impression that many people have, just bcs it says "seats", but everyone stands up

That's my fear.. because when I stand all day long my back and hips will start hurting so that when the actual show starts I'm already tired and exhausted and in pain that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the show anymore... and I'm not gonna wait from the moring on lol

Can't you just sit in front of the door or whatever all day while waiting? That's what I'm planning to do, I don't care if people look at me weirdly :ladyhaha:

I had a lot of horrible stories, I think Im kinda fragile, and im the same, standing all day long my back starts hurting a lot. I would queue up at 8 AM but there would already be people there who were there at 6 AM. 8 am to 12 am, i get lunch, standing up, i sit here and there but its not comfy when u queuing. And then u wait and wait, it's afternoon, sometimes it rains, by 4 PM i already think about being in bed and laying down and regretting it all LOL. I remember when i'd finally arrive in the arena, and people run. And then I have to run but I feel my legs being heavy, stiff, and it hurts. And i finally get to the stage and other people behind me are rushing too and then im stuck in the crowd, and people push you around. At some point it stops but more and more people arrive and u cant even look down to grab something in ur bag sometimes. uve been standing up for 8 hours or 6 hours now u have to wait for 1 hour or so for the show to start and ur dead. and by the way once the show starts the pushing gets even more intense, some are so tall u cant even see ****. and when u ask them to move they tell u to **** off. the air feels hot, it's only when you put ur chin up, to get some oxygen that you notice some fresh air moving around, it's the people that make the air feel hot and heavy when u don't look up. It's the most horrible feeling ever to me :poot: not only that but if you are someone who has anxiety and is fragile i really do not recommend this for you. I am really scared u could feel terrible and even cry... because Ive definitely cried one time :messga:

Oh that just means the lower seats, or the seats closer to the floor. So for example at this seating chart at an arena, the lower bowl would be the 100 level orange sections, whereas the green 300 level sections are the upper bowl.
