I sang Plastic Doll at Karaoke (don’t worry, no video)

I went to my town’s only gay bar for the 2nd time yesterday. Last time I had been there was like 4-5 years ago. 
 

Anyways, it was karaoke night, and they were debuting a new system. Going through there song list I found plastic doll, and blasted my heart out. They also had 1000 Doves, Stupid Love, 911, and Free Woman. When I do karaoke at a bunch of other places, I haven’t seen anything from Chromatica, the newest Gaga track they had was shallow. 
 

I’ll definitely be back to do them all! The instrumental wasn’t bad either, it sounded damn near official. It was so much fun, BUT I did feel kinda dumb saying the intro and I’ve never had a problem with it before, but in front of a crowd felt so wrong lol. 
 

Have y’alls sang some Gaga at karaoke? Anything from Chromatica? If you could karaoke any Gaga song, what would you choose?

Yes. I did the outro without issue cause I was into it at that point but to start I was like

doing aura at a gay bar in Arkansas was crazy lol I loved it! I sang/screamed so much running around the bar, it was so much fun.

I totally get that.  I sing the whole song too but it might feel silly performing that part in front of people right off the start. 😂

Gaga songs I sang at karaoke:

- Paparazzi (it's always been one of my favorites, and apparently I sing it well, people also like the song so it's always a cool moment!)

- Speechless (it's nice but doesn't work that well since people don't know the song)

- Born this Way (fun to sing)

- Americano (that one is AMAZING to sing, it's really catchy and by the end of the song everyone was clapping and singing along even though nobody knew the song!)

- Sinner's Prayer (it was an open mic thing where you could ask the musicians to learn the song and play the instruments for you, the guy who did the bass line really loved it, and while I was singing, I saw a guy in the bar who was singing along, so I talked to him afterwards and he said he really liked Gaga, and especially the songs on Joanne)

- Million Reasons (the guy who recognized Sinner's Prayer told me he would play Million Reasons for me on the guitar while I was singing, it was really cool, he even did the backing vocals!)

- Highway Unicorn (I tried it at the open mic thing too, it was acoustic and didn't do so well)

- Angel Down (maybe too slow and depressing for the audience)

- Shallow, Always remember us this way, I'll never love again (that was right during ASIB, people around loved the movie and the music and they joined me, and we started singing all these songs)

- Look what I found (it's not as well-known as the others but it always works well as a song)

 

Jazz bonus: On my first night at the open mic thing, I hadn't asked the musicians to learn a song beforehand so they didn't have anything from Gaga, but the main musician knew that she sang Lush Life and suggested we do it. (the singing was a mess) Then, because I'm French, everyone wanted me to do La vie en rose so I did that too

OMGG i enjoy so much singing that song, my mother tongue is Spanish, and it's just so much fun singing the spanish parts the way gaga sings it, with that a kind of italian accent and modulation, so funny, it's a blast.

All of this sounds amazing. I’d love to see videos. I love singing you and I at karaoke cause I can scream “put yo drinks up!!” That always goes well
