I legit have come to terms that no one cares anymore, and there’s nothing more anyone can do. We have masks and resources such as vaccines, and if people elect not to get vaccinated they can assume the risk. Not two years, two vaccinations and a booster deep into this and we still have to wear masks everywhere we go like it’s China 2.0. The people that have the nerve to still be upset about the mandate being dropped can wear their masks until 2043 if they want, no one is going to stop you. We have reached over 90% of people who are either vaccinated or had the virus. Do I think cases will spike again with new variants? Absolutely. But I also see the need to ease back on restrictions. IMO the remaining burden should be on the unvaccinated. Keep them from going anywhere OR make vaccination mandatory for all.
