Britney EXPOSES Jamie Lynn again; Says she deserved to be whipped

I support Britney so much and I believe Jamie Lynn has been a lying snake, but this post does not read that well to me. “You and your little friends wouldn’t play with me…you were 12”. This feels like a weird thing to freak out about.
However… I also think Britney is still traumatized from 13 years of being a prisoner.  She has a lot to work through and we’re seeing her work through it in public so all the slack, love and support to her.

This is going to end badly as I’ve said before. She’s manic. I love how everyone is changing their tune now.

I wouldn't say she's manic by any means (unless you feel like diagnosing half the people on social media with a mental illness) but I feel like she's definitely getting a bit carried away :poot:

Maybe I'm just used to only following quiet people like Gaga now though :laughga:

I think if this was Kanye or anyone else, it would be fair game to say they are being manic. And others would support that statement wholeheartedly. Whether or not you like or support someone is irrelevant.

I worry we are over correcting and skewing from “Free Britney” to “Britney has complete immunity to make herself look childish” and that’s something that needs to be acknowledged. I already see people dismissing everything she does as “just getting used to her freedom.”

Public opinion is the elephant in the room no one wants to discuss. It helped create the environment that got her put into the conservatorship, and it’s also what ultimately got her out. This is doing a lot of harm to the good will she earned the past few years as the Free Britney movement gained momentum. The narrative of “well we don’t know what mental issues were in her records…” has already started, and after seeing her be so happy everyone was rallying around her, I’d really hate to see her be faced with the opposite.

I just personally don't like others' health, mental or physical, being a matter of public debate tbh.

I supported the Free Britney movement because the control over her was not normal and she was being abused to the point that she was forced to have an IUD.

If she had stayed in the conservatorship but got a new person to do it, someone who'd respect her wishes and had her best interest at heart, I would have been good with that too honestly.

Her posts do make me uncomfortable 'cause they're messy and over the top and I worry about her happiness. But she can make her own choices, I won't judge 'cause I'm not involved

They could be a sign that she's still unwell and needs help or they could just be the rants of someone who was kept under her dad's thumb for more than a decade, not even being allowed to control her own uterus, and she's understandably pissed.

Honestly this has got to stop now, I’m actually concerned for Britney’s mental health she doesn’t sound like she’s in a good place. I just hope she is getting therapy and has the right people around her. :fatcat:

That’s totally fair, honestly. It shouldn’t be, but it is for everyone really, not just Brit or other pop stars. In the US (and probably other countries I can’t speak for personally) it’s in everything from entertainment, to sports, to politics. Even if we don’t agree with it, we still have to acknowledge the impression it leaves on people. People still make head shaving jokes to this day. My mom will never see her as anything other than that incident and oh BOY is she having a time with Brit’s Instagram posts.

I don’t think fans are wrong for being concerned about her posts and having questions about her mental state. I think most of it is coming from the same place of love and support that was concerned about the c-ship in the first place. We’re maybe a bit overprotective. No pun intended :awkney:

People forget Britney has a support system and care plan in place that she agreed to when she was released from the conservatorship. If there were something actually wrong, we wouldn't be seeing these posts. We're witnessing someone who is hurting deeply over public statements made by their own blood, and that's really all there is to it. It would be different if she were running around L.A. like she was in 2007, but she's not. She probably wrote this while sunbathing next to her pool. Of course she could do this in private, and she's even said she would prefer it, but Jamie Lynn keeps doing interviews and baiting her, so I'm not surprised at all that she's grown tired of it. Doing this in public ensures that her family won't run to the press and twist her words like they have been doing for the last 13 years.

I read her post as the rantings of someone who had been deeply hurt by her family for years and Jamie Lynn wants to make sure she continues to be hurt.  Britney deserves to do a lot of ranting after all she's been through.  I see nothing wrong with her post.  I read her recent posts as someone under great stress, and I will not blame or judge her.  I hope she is given space and we'll see what things are like weeks or months from now when things have hopefully settled down.

Imagine Britney's exuberance of being free but at the same time her sadness of continuing to be haunted by her family.  The stress of all this must be enormous.  A year from now we may look back at this moment and say "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times".

I wish the very best for Britney.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Let me stream this real quick :partysick:

But yeah, I agree with you. I don't instantly see malice in anyone who questions her mental health when they do so maturely, I just personally don't want to do it. She has doctors, a support system, and she's free from her dad. That's what's most important to me

I think its crazy for people to think she's going 'insane' like, if you were silenced for 13+ years you would be going off. Literally don't balme her.
