Rosalía and Rauw criticised for a Christmas show in Puerto Rico

Spanish singer Rosalía and her boyfriend, the Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, brought their music to a Christmas party in Puerto Rico, which generated controversy on Monday because it gathered a crowd in the midst of the current wave of COVID-19 infections.

The concert was held in the Residencial Virgilio Dávila. The show, was criticized by the health sector due to the crowding of people and the lack of social distancing at a time when Covid-19 cases have rebounded on the island due to the omicron variant.

The head of the Public Housing Administration (AVP), Alejandro Salgado, published a letter this Monday showing that he did not authorize the event at the Residencial Virgilio Dávila on December 26.
