Voting for WYWF because it’s underrated. :partysick:

I was obsessed with it when it came out. Telephone is great but also feels a bit… manufactured? Don’t come for me. :partysick:

Pop Music

I love all of the LAMB singles but WYWF has never been my favorite

the verses and chorus sound like two different songs to me but it's still serves great production and is catchy

adore Gwen tho and the video is excellent and one of her best

Telephone is a bop through and through and the video is also one of the best video of The Fame Monster era

although for some reason when I listen to it I am reminded of the fact Gaga mentions that she doesn't like this song due to the stress of making it

it was the intention of gaga that telephone would appear manufactured, it uses publicity in the way that andy warhol used it in the factory, it has the record Guinness of most product placement in a videoclip in history, and yet it is a criticism of capitalism, also, it appears as a manufactured pop song, but i never heard a pop song sampling telephone sounds the way this song does, i could only think of kraftwerk's "the telephone call" plus the way is slashed in some parts and it glitches it's very unusual for a pop song of this calibre, also this electronic elements contrast so well with the sound of a folk harp, it's just so brilliant. this song is a masterpiece.

The Fame Monster

I voted for Telephone because it’s so relatable. I hate answering the phone, especially my work phone. I just want everyone to leave me alone and let me be!

Oh please… it was written for Britney and never had any of that subtext that was added later on. It’s a pretty generic pop song that Gaga took to the next level.

Love the video, love the lyrics –– I find the song really inspiring. I'm so glad Linda Perry pushed Gwen on this one.

and what does it matter? all the elements she added and all the subtext it had make it not generic at all, i'm telling you this reminds me of kraftwerk, it's one of the most creative pop songs out there, it's pure pop art, or ARTPOP i should say hahaha...

I mean you’re talking about the video specifically not the song… :triggered:
