What would be the effect of this circumstance on the world because I have to travel abroad and all my booking is done for the next month. Viruses tend to get weaker as they mutate, and sometimes more contagious.

I dont for one second believe that this variant was the sole cause, if it was a cause at all.

If its spreading as quickly as Boris has said, and is as dangerous as he's hinted (but made sure to use vague wording) then there'd be tens of thousands of deaths by now.

At this stage, we have sacrificed enough. I've never been a covid denier, but someone is clearly using it to their advantage now.
