At least y'all can post and discuss about these issues freely on the internet. Chinese citizens are either silenced, brainwashed, or unaware. Plus there is a genocide going on with Uighurs not too disimilar of how the Jews were treated in the second world war

Again, total lack of critical thinking and being able to see the bigger picture. Ill ignore your threat as it doesnt get more ignorant than that. The truth about US and China: you dont become a superpower by maintaining moral consistency and superiority. This is the history of man basically. Villages took over villages, tribes over tribes, cities over cities, then countries over countries. To become more powerful, just like a cell, you have to absorb the “nutrients” of the things around you. The US, as the main superpower for almost a century did its fair share of taking over and absorbing. But, the US has reached a cultural point that its citizens are trying to halt this push of global superiority, and just make the country livable for all it’s citizens. It is a struggle and itnis a fight, but Americans have the privelege to call out it’s government. The Chinese people, do not. In order to “start somewhere” the US needs to start doing things like this, and keep up the momentum. There are many other countries that feel the same way but will not act ueless the US does. This is a step in the right direction and should be encouraged. Otherwise it wont continue.

Canada, Australia, Japan and others are also reconsidering their role in this olympics. China did not invite any government officials to the Olympics, except Russia’s Vladimir Putin. I'm confused. How can US officials boycott Olympics if they weren't even invited in the first place? And how can China officials be offended by USA if they didn't invite them before? But the U.S. has less power over other's rights violations than its own. Yet it doesn't do much to help it's own people. Plus this is nothing but pandering to moderates. If they wanted to take action they would, in a variety of ways. Most obviously is increasing U.S. independence. But its citizens like cheap sh!t too much and so our products will continue to say "made in China". And even if the U.S. did plan to decrease imports, there's not enough infastructure to support it. So yes China's issues need to be addressed. But this is nothing but pretentious and does nothing but provide some lip service. I agree alot more should be done and this isnt exactly a substantial move thatll likely cause any change at all but at the very least it might spark the disscussion and annoy china abit. Somesort of minor consequence at the very least. I just think the whole narrative that the US shouldnt say anything because of there own issues is crazy and annoys the crap out of me because its dangerously naivee. Whenever any countries start to point out chinas issues theres always a large mob that says that you cant talk. Take australia my country for example when our government said we wanted to investigate china at the begining of COVID. A large amount of countries and social media said we should butt out and we cant talk because of the recent war crime that some1 in our military had commited had been revealed. Which only was publicaly revealed because our country was transparent with its people and allowed an investigation on our military in the first place. Since then china has punished us for speaking out with ridiculous tarifs and f@cked up propaganda. But a positive about it has been that australia has been forced to take a decent amount of its trade elsewhere and had made smarter political moves such as joining AUKUS and our country is much more focused on the threat the chinese government poses. Soz for big speel lol i can understand if u dont wanna read.
