FKA Twigs' second studio album, Magdalene, was released 2 years ago today! The album, produced by Twigs herself and featuring a number of co-producers like Nicolas Jaar and Skrillex, was highly acclaimed by critics and has an average score of 88 on Metacritic. It's distinctive art pop and electronic sound recalls the work of music giants such as Kate Bush, David Bowie, and Björk, while still retaining FKA Twigs' unique vocals and approach to songwriting and production.

One of my favourite albums of all-time and the best album of 2019 along with norman rockwell! it should have been nominated and won several grammys tbh. 

I'm so glad I got to see her on tour during this era, it was honestly one of the best live shows I've ever been to.

one of my favorite albums ever. literally no skips on this masterpiece, BUT my soul belongs to Mirrored Heart forever, the most beautiful song of all time.
