Is it because of the delayed vinyl shipping? Or do they still count, I'm confused

now Billboard only counts physical copies shipped to customers

I feel bad for Doja being permanently locked from the #1 spot even though she's been charting so highly. For Lana I think the vinyl delays really botched her sales figures. She could have probably been #4 or even #2 with those vinyl sales.

I'm no expert on charts but it kind of looks like they're just trying to keep Doja steady for a couple more months. Then maybe push for the #1 with a couple more signed copies or a remix.

I literally didn't know the album had been released, I only noticed it after seeing the threads on GGD.

They should release physical copies. CD pressing of Planet Her was limited to only 5K pieces , no vinyls, no cassettes...

ed sheeran dropped yesterday, will be #1 for at least 1 week, probably two. then taylor swift drops, #1 for one week, then probably stuck at number 2. adele drops the week after, probably #1 for 2484943283 weeks. Doja can probably kiss that #1 goodbye sadly

They ****ed her up with that vinyl delay 🙄 congrats Ben, Ed and Interscope

there is a huge demand for vinyl that has also caused delays in manufacturing, which have been exacerbated by global supply-chain problems and shortages of raw materials like PVC and paper products.
Big artist have to book their albums 6 months prior.
Ed Sheeran said there are 3 vinyl factories in the world.
