Kim never said she doesn’t believe Kesha???

Kim liked tweets suggesting Kesha was lying. She now claims that it wasn't her and that someone made that story up, even though multiple people saw it.

Perhaps most notable, he kept guiding aspiring stars he had signed. When outcry erupted about the dance-pop diva Kim Petras working with him, she spoke of her “positive experience with Dr. Luke,” but said “that does not negate or dismiss the experience of others or suggest that multiple perspectives cannot exist at once.” This is the approach that his collaborators—artistic and commercial—often take: asserting Luke’s chillness in their own interactions, without commenting on specific allegations.

If someone is not willing to step up and stand up for what is right, they are part of the problem. Kim is out there talking about how good of a person Dr. Luke is, despite the evidence from Kesha.

It's been made abundantly clear by Kim herself and Aaron Joseph (the link between Kim and Luke) that she's in no way forced to work with him, and isn't tied to him whatsoever. Their collaborations are 100% consensual on both sides. Kim also just signed to a division under Republic with Luke at the head.

All of this heavily suggests that she either doesn't believe Kesha, or she does believe her but doesn't care as much about it as she cares about her career.

Kim got signed in 2013, before Kesha came out with the allegations. Kim never denied Kesha’s allegations.

maybe educate yourself a bit?

Aaron Joseph debunked pretty much most of the things in that thread.

Also, there is absolutely no need to get disrespectful with me.

Thank you for including the information. The quote you have inserted however tells the opposite of what you were saying: that Kim doesn’t believe in Keshas allegations.  I’ve also been going through the previously linked Twitter thread with arguments opposing the allegations and find it really difficult to choose a side – obviously it’s morally impossible to defend an alleged rapist. I however doubt SOPHIE and Charli XCX would have worked with Kim if she wouldn’t care at all. In the end, no one knows what is going on behind the scenes, what Kim’s stance is behind formal press statements and to what percentage Luke is involved in Kim’s music. For the moment, I am celebrating this trans woman from a small German village who made it onto the VMAs stage and enjoy the music she releases.

Okay, so like I had high expectations for her. It was a little cringy tbh. I fear she lacks some confidence and her dancing is a little stiff. I love the aesthetic. She's definitely got some art being brought to the table. What do ya'll think? This is a safe space to talk about our artistic opinions. ☺️

I agree with your assessment! I also think this song isn't very good unfortunately. Imagine if she went out there and did Death By Sex :firega::ladyhaha:

Why does she have a receding hairline? :huntyga:

I’m not positive but she is transgender which might make her hairline look slightly different than someone who is a cisgender female.

I really like how recognizable the voice is and how full of joy/energy it is.
bit awkward and didnt use the stage well. Id say if she doesnt move that well, surely the outfit didnt help in the slightest. She seemed like gaga a bit. Dont know why.

The fact that people compare Ava to Gaga when what they do is day and night different.

Meanwhile I just watch someone put Gaga's Ikea parking lot performance on stage at the VMAs.
