I think it was performative love for the cameras, that's what Gaga said it was many times. She might have felt some genuine desire for him but chose to deny it for the sake of professionalism. But I always believed it when Gaga called it acting, especially since nothing happened even after they'd both broken up? Then again he has a kid and the press would've come for her. I feel like if they'd both been in different situations from the start, maybe things would've played out differently.

Bradley clearly had a big impact on her mood, just to think that he could either calm her down or made her happy with one move. But it seems that Bradley usually have a big impact on the people around him.

Only guessing, but I'd say it happens a lot in movieworld, and this was her first go at it, so she was more susceptible. Plus he wasn't just a co-star, he was the director, the guy enabling her to fulfil her childhood dream, and at the same time she was teaching him how to be a rockstar.

In a safe space she's a very open, connected and loving person. She touches you, hugs you, looks you deep in the eye and listens intently. And that is her interacting with a stranger. I can imagine her to feel love for someone quite quickly it she feels a connection of some sort, at least that's my observation. So if she gets to spend a lot of time with someone she trusts and admires, I think that loyal, devoted lovely side of her shines through, also in friendships or with collegues. 

She has a similar energy with Mark Ronson, Bloodpop and for example Tara in the past.

Gaga kind of reminds me of a puppy, loyal and sweet but bouncing all over the place and always getting all the attention from people that step into the room.

I think they both were attracted to each other and were great friends, but I'm sure there never EVER was an affair. He had a KID and Irina and that would be so cruel. I don't think Gaga would do something like that to a fooking newborn. Even if there were feelings, I think they eventually got destroyed by gossips and media. Gaga and Bradley must have been so tired. And I bet that was the reason why Irina left cause c'mon??? Can you guys even imagine being in such situation where your boyfriend is constantly rumoured to be cheating on you? I would be fuming. Someone here mentioned "Stupid Love" maybe being about him, but I doubt it. But I'm pretty sure Babylon was inspired by him and media saying she was the other woman. "Him, you and me that's gossip"

I see a level of emotional sync and understanding each other (which they even admitted) that must have made their partners extremely jealous even more if it was just a platonic love. It looks as they have opened up their minds and hearts to each other in a way they maybe never did to them.

I wish both of them to find their happiness in life separately but knowing how it could have been might be a huge load for their actual relationships even now.

This. Gaga was completely in love with Jackson Maine and those feelings rolled over to how we saw her interacting with Bradley and made their friendship seems so intense. Bradley talked about being completely taken with Stefani because her insane talent, intellect, and what she did for his biggest project. They had to be so committed to each other with the movie and the music and taking such a big risk with both of their careers. All of this made their friendship deep and real and when you combine that with incredible chemistry it was easy for them to act the part for their characters and phenomenal PR. 
I seriously doubt they had a torrid affair but I do seriously hope they at least hooked up because DAMN they are insanely hot together.

Not y'all perpetuating this idea that she was in love or something. It's dumb enough when the GP went "omg, Gaga and Bradley were totally dating!!!!!1 it's so obvious!!!", now we got Little Monsters doing it too??

She clearly has a lot of respect and admiration for him, but not every healthy relationship between a man and a woman is inherently romantic. It's a platonic, respectful, mutal relationship.
