The OJ story was around when I was a kid, as was the Clinton Affair. But imo, the Clinton Affair really spread more into the lives of everyone as it monumentally changed how we talk about sex in public. Before this and Sex and the City in 98, we weren't talking about sex like this. And women specifically were made out to be dumb blondes and gold diggers and sl*ts.
