Piqué and Shakira incident with a photographer

Shakira and her boyfriend Gerard Pique (a footballer) took advantage of the international break to have a surfing holiday in Cantabria.
The defender, who missed FC Barcelona’s last game injured was ‘caught’ by El Diario Montanes with Shakira and their children in the water and dressed in surfwear.

The newspaper put it on their front page on Saturday. “Shakira and Pique catch waves in Oyambre” ran the headline.
However they also explain that the player had an altercation with the photographer. Pique had tried, unsuccessfully, to get the photographer to delete photos.

The photographer was “approached” and “surrounded” by a “group of more than eight individuals”. They “rebuked, pressured and intimidated” him and  add that, “at the request of Piqué”, they took away his camera and tried to erase the images. Something that they did not achieve.

The Cantabrian Association of Photojournalists (to which the photographer belongs) said: “It is not possible to allow a journalist in the exercise of his work to be attacked with impunity in this way, especially when he was also in a public space, and the right of a journalism professional to carry out his work is perfectly regulated “

The photographer also points out that, in addition to having “witnesses in the area” who witnessed the incident, the photojournalist called the Civil Guard to “take note of the events.”

She's a high level tax dodger. The Civil Guard were called to take note of this event, so not only does Shakira refuse to pay her taxes but she also burdens the taxpayers further by causing dramas that require police involvement

She has accountants that handle her taxes. She has a legal team sorting out the issue.

She doesn't need to issue a statement. She doesn't need to make her actions known to the public. She probably knows so little about it, in fact, that she doesn't have the ability to make a statement.

Regardless, this is what happens when you're super rich and have staff. That's life.

When she appeared before the court for questioning she still claimed she was living in Bahams from 2012 to 2014 but Spanish prosecutors found out she had no physical presence for a single day during 2012-2014, she has nothing to prove that she was in the Bahamas, not even a plane ticket. She was almost all this time in Spain.

Wherever you are in the world, no matter which countries rules apply to you, you are ultimately responsible for your own taxation. Even if you have an accountant the buck still rests with you
