It is funny how EU is turning its eyes away from the right wing anti-LGBTQAI movements, while focusing on what women should wear.

The EU actually took legal actions in court against Hungary and Poland in regards to that a few days ago.

As far as I know most countries in the EU and the EU itself define themselves in the constitution as secular, meaning they separate the state from the church. So on that note, NO religious symbol or attire should be displayed or worn at work, especially in government and public institutions.

Stop policing women's bodies.

Religious men are also hugely affected by this decision– it is far wider stretching than headscarvs, burkas etc.

The media know EXACTLY what they're doing by framing it as a Muslim ban though. It affects the Jewish, Catholics, Sikhs, Mormons etc

So basically the company wants you to have 0 personality and be a bland robot who does the work and leaves while showing 0 qualities that do not relate to whatever the task you are doing is. And that's on capitalism.

Also let's not make excuses for companies that want their employees to have no affiliation with politics or unions. We all know the primary goal of that is exploitation and controlling workers.

Personality is not the same as identity tho.

No the primary goal is to not use your job as a political rally with what's look like different teams when it's supposed to be one team united to achieve goals.

This law applies to men too, this isn't about women, or gender in general lol

I swear people just see the headline with and attack it without even fully getting what it's about lol.

It's not only about women, religion, headscarf yet they Scream about Muslim women getting a specific treatment smh.

Well that's cause they don't live in Europe anyway and to them it's all about becoming right wing.

The employer CAN ban religious symbols/hats/scarves just like the CAN ban tattoos as well.

But why draw the line there? Why not include a clause for political symbols, quotes, flags etc.

It's already very present in europe. Neutrality workplaces rules already includes these often so no need for other clauses.

This decision was about a specific confirmation ruling when it comes to an aspect of this neutrality. People diss it as anti religion without knowing how it works.

Stop trying to sound smart, it is obviously about them. I am pretty no company has an issue with people wearing a cross. We have seen it many times.
This is how people are trying to force women into certain standards. You fail to see that, hiding behind xenophobia. You can’t preach freedom and liberty if it is conditional.

COME ON GAYS!!
