I mean, even the regular Chromatica album was just a Bloodpop album imo. He even chose the name of it :huntyga:

At least it's a new content with Gaga's input in it, unlike this remix album... :huntyga:

* Remix projects can be stellar though especially if it's something like Kelela's from 2018 or even Flume with "Tennis Court".

* Not sure why people are dragging the hyperpop artists involved when most were complaining that Chromatica wasn't "experimental" enough from the get go lol.

* Chromatica still has a lot of potential, so I for one and very on board for a remix project.

* Finally least wait to judge it till it's out in full.

I really hoped for a Gaga solo project, but this remix album is full of D-list artist who I (and the GP) don't care about.

Stop calling them D-list artist, why can't you guys just says small label artists or indie artists? S*** like this shows that you guys have no appreciation to smaller artists, and that's a pathetic and tasteless move.

I only care for Rina and Bree.

The most Gaga will do for this will be a single post and Instagram story, nothing more. It will come and go within a week.

my honest opinion is that if these songs wont make the OG chromatica tracks better, then I won't stream it after my first and second listen.

listened to Shy Girl, Dorian, Arca, Ashniko and welllllllll....let's just say monotonous/edited everywhere vocals over static clinkclank "hyper pop" music is just not my cup of tea.

BUT if they do sound good then RELEASE THE STREAMING PARTIES D-****ERS!!!!!!!!

I don't think it can even be compared to Club Future Nostalgia because Dua Lipa continued with the era after she released the remix album. I'm honestly not here for Chromatica remixed album, I don't see the point in it really when Gaga has moved on from the era and I'd rather to hear new music from her. :yennefer:

There’s plenty of potential for a TFM- like Chromatica extension. Like the SOPHIE songs for example. Or those unreleased song titles that leaked last year, like Thunderstorm, Summer Nights, Nymphomaniac, Spectrum and others. Who knows maybe they’ll do it eventually, if the tour is still happening clearly something Chromatica related has to come.

Weren't those confirmed to be fake (thank God)?

OT- my honest opinion: we don't know **** about that and it makes no sense to rant over it. At the end of the day there's nothing we can do about it.

YES it mightn’t be a big deal for you guys but for a lot of these artists on the remixes, this type of exposure will be amazing for them

1° - I never liked remixes, they generally seem like worse versions of the original songs to me.

2° - I really hoped for a Gaga solo project, but this remix album is full of D-list artist who I (and the GP) don't care about.

3° - I wanted Gaga to continue with the era with a full Chromatica experience, but I feel that this will be just like Club Future Nostalgia: an album that will drop out of nowhere, with minimal promo and that will chart only 1 week on the B200.

4° - I would really prefer an EP with new Chromatica songs ala The Fame Monster with a full roll-out.

So I really prefer to move on and make space for LG7 instead of releasing and album that half of the fandom won't like and the GP won't like (becouse let's be honest, only a minority likes listening to remixes).

So yeah, .... :selena:

Who even said that the remix album will only include remixes as additions? Half the Little Monsters have been crying for the HL Babylon since the album dropped. And if they're not gonna release it we'll still hear the crying in 8 years. There really is no winning.

As for D-List artists, artists such as Rina could potentially bring a new following to Gaga and expand her audience.

At this point, it's very obvious that they're not just trying to keep Chromatica fresh or popular. They're doing it as a bonus for the fans because they can, not because they're obliged to by marketing or any other entity. The idea that this remix album is to promote the tour and generate buzz makes no sense, as the album will be over 2 years old by the time she steps a foot on TCB stage. A smarter move would be to tour another album and possibly just premier a MV or other visual content at each stop. But the point is that this isn't to generate buzz or chart, it's for exposure for Gaga and for the smaller artists attached and for the fans.

There is no making space for LG7 at this moment. She allegedly has her jazz album coming out within the next few weeks and she also has a movie in a couple of months. If ASIB is any indication, her press tour will take about a year. And there's no idea on when Enigma is to continue, but I can guarantee you Vegas will want her back ASAP in order to cash in on the busy travel as places reopen.

Gaga took a huge backseat with the original album too. Look at the interviews, the writer's credits, pretty much any press material and public information other than the promo photos themselves. She wasn't as heavily involved as she has been with past projects.

But who's to say that Gaga has no input on this? Maybe Gaga gave a list of artists she'd like on the remixes? Maybe she even requested them on specific songs? Who knows that she didn't personally reach out and ask if they're interested? Gaga could be approving the songs, sending suggestions, or even being in the studio now. She could be freeing up some time to plan and produce a MV or other promo material depending on how they'll handle the release. Just because Bloodpop is the main person communicating doesn't mean he's exclusively in control. It could be because Gaga doesn't wanna deal with Monsters pestering her for release information or her social media post schedule is already planned and she/her team doesn't want to overexpose.

There's no way to know what's going on behind the scenes unless you're somehow involved with the project. But this fanbase's ability to make assumptions and run with them is astonishing.

I’m not sure, but probably. I didn’t read anything about them being real or not, just that they were apparently outtakes from the album.

This. It doesn't hurt to put the remix album out unless she pushes it hard and it doesn't get acclaim. If you don't want to listen that's completely fine. It's just bonus content, and for some parties involved (the collaborators, their fans) this is a great opportunity. It brings a new perspective and the artists are all pretty unique so they will probably bring some character to the songs they're on. At the VERY least, let this be a sign that Gaga is opening up to collaborations, and not just ones that will get her a #1.

Yeah, people with 300.000.000 views on a music video are "D-Listers". Sure!

There are a lots of Is in this post, but what truly matters is what Gaga and the label thinks about this project. Our opinions don't matter.

They need to try to live the era again before the shows, if they think they'll manage it with rmixes: GREAT!

How can people judge something they didn't even listen to yet?

Yeah we’re just her adoring, paying fans :poot:

i am super excited cuz now chromatica will vibe with my initial thoughts about the album sound(being an experimental one).I love all of the artists and sometimes I like remixed songs better than the original ones.Who knows how much gaga is involved. She could easily do new verses of her parts or they could add new instrumental breaks soo i dont know why some of you are soo negative about this project. The fact interscope got the green light for this album means they're interested to see it coming.I am living since the rumored artists really express their excitement about their collab with Gaga.We might get Babylon HL after 2 years :bradley:This album could bring some new visuals(for example a new album cover, new MV and so on).Idk why you are bringing up charts, when gaga clearly showed us that she doesn't care about charts.
