But what i dont get is why the program isnt expanded to all minorities and not just black specifically... there are other minorities that on average have been living in Canada for a shorter period of time than the majority of black community (especially South Asian) and may struggle to an even greater degree with such oppurtunities as 1st generation immigrants For example in my city Indians are by far the largest immigrant group... most were not born here and are 1st generation immigrants and didny even get to finish school nor do they have family to lend support to endevours such as starting a business. I also am curious, if the USA has 17% black population how can they expect everything to be equal? 50/50 white and black in workforce, 50/50 representation everywhere? I do not understand. I can only speak from my experience and stats I found from the USA but Indian immigrants --overall--are the most educated immigrant racial group here and median income of Indian immigrants here in the USA is $120,000. Maybe it is the same in Canada as well?
